I am trying to use the www.brewtroller.org/webapp/# and I keep getting an unauthorized. I am using the default username and password. When I hit they Brewtroller directly in the browser I am able to get a response and log in to configure it.

Just no luck with the WebApp.

Go ahead and uncheck "use authentication" it actually hasn't been implemented yet. You should be able to connect without user/pass

I tried that with it unchecked.

I am still getting a Unauthorized issue.

401 Unauthorized: Password required

Request URL:http://192.168.50.113/btnic.cgi?a
Request Method:GET
Status Code:401 Unauthorized
Remote Address:192.168.50.113:80

When I go to the board directly I get:

OpenTroller I2C Ethernet Adapter
Manufacturer: Open Source Control Systems, Inc.
Firmware: 2.0 Build 2
live.brewtroller.com

I forgot a step! Go to the board directly and click on Configuration/Diagnostics.

The default user/pass is admin/password

Then go to web server configuration and uncheck "Require Authentication for Data Requests"

That should fix your problem.
