Adam,
Can you push the Web App code stack hosted on www.brewtroller.org/webapp/ up to GitHub. I was running debug and found some obvious bugs. The main one is the passed password in the ajax function uses the global instead of the passed password (PWD). If I uncomment the secure header section, I know it will work. There are two consecutive double quotes in the html section that break as well.

I have seen all of the "new" raspberryPi implementations and I am convinced that they do not have the depth of completion of the Reba/Dillingham/Shake implementation. They are all relying on shields to perform i2c master and i/o port isolation which adds to the baseline cost. The only positive aspect is the built-in wireless ethernet of the raspberry pi 3 and the ability to create a web server backend with data logging.

Perhaps a fusion of the two...
keep all the GUI and wireless in the raspberrypi 3 <---> http://BTNICEMB/btnic.cgi?a <---> Phoenix/DX1 <---> digital/analog i/o <---pumps/heat/valves/thermometer

I downloaded and tweaked an older i2ceth-develop code line and am able to connect to 2.6 & 2.7 brewtroller code lines on my DX-1. I started to add graphic thermometers using jquery.thermometer but am not impressed.

The biggest challenge is only the flaky upload of the MPFS2 images on a windows machine (MPFS2.jar utility on the macintosh flat out doesn't work).
Sometimes you have to push it two or three times for it to be

Slick front-end GUI's sell product!

The current webapp code is already on github here:

github.com/BrewTroller/WebApp

Feel free to tweak away! The password functions are not implemented at all honestly, so even the option could probably be commented out. I've done some graphical stuff you can play with as well, its simple, but I kinda like it.

If you want to take a more "formal" role in working on the I2CEth firmware and the web app, let me know, I can get you plugged into the dev chain. If you wanna go on your own, make changes and issue pull requests to the repo and I'll review and merge them

I will be looking into exactly what you suggest with the pi. There is a chance this could get rolled into v3.0 some day.

github.com/BrewTroller/WebApp does not seem to be the same code, the on on Github has a graphical pointers and the ones on the website are just text. But the big problem is that the ones on Github do not follow the times unless i am missing something on my install. I am installing it on ISS.

Thank you

The code on /webapp isn't sitting in a release anywhere. If you look back through revisions you might be able to find it. But I started moving toward the graphical stuff a while back. It should still work. What are you not seeing?

the one at www.brewtroller.org/webapp/ shows the timers as they are on the controller, the current version does not.
