Hey Chris,

I assume you are seeing flashing lights on the network jack,a nd that you see a light on the port of the router/switch you have it connected to as well. Check that first. Then I'd double make sure you are getting a successful flash of the firmware. IF you are running your tftp connect correctly you should get a success message at the end.

Adam,

Thanks for the reply. Yes I am seeing lights on both ends, for awhile. After about ten minutes the i2ceth seems to be shutting down with no light activities from the jack, or the brewtroller board led. I am also getting the "success" notification when flashing the chip. Success as in I am receiving a bytes sent and length of lapsed time to transfer statement when the transfer is finished, as mentioned in another thread here on these issues.

Thanks again!

Chris C.

And, again, what firmware version are you using on the board, and what eth firmware?

Just flashed to 2.6 build 006 on brewtroller, and last version I could see on eth was 1.1, assuming I'm at latest version (unsure of version number), but can not verify.

I don't have an i2ceth board to help troubleshoot with you, but it could just be incompatible versions. Have you made any progress since your last post?

Hoping to have 2.8 out soon so maybe that combine with an updated live might work better. Stay tuned.

Unfortunately no updates since my last post for this problem. Can't wait for 2.8! Loving my brewtroller and want very much to have live info. And ability to load recipies. Staying tuned for more with much anticipation!
