Hello BrewTroller Community!!

We have had enough interest come up to warrant another Pre-Order for motorized ball valves. And, since we are doing pre-orders for other components right now, the timing seems right.

We will also be ordering extras along with this preorder with the intention of carrying these all the time in the future. They will be at the retail price of $34.99 + shipping. right now, though if we top 100 units, I will extend a small discount to anyone who orders depending on the discount we get from the manufacturer.

If you are interested, let me know here or on Facebook or Email. I will be putting a "preorder" valve item up in the store soon as well.

Thanks!!

-Adam

So, the difference between the two valves is just weight?

Between the CR02 and the CR03. Both listed on your store page.

Ahh ha!! Its a difference in wiring, not weight. The CR02 wiring has a common ground, and you apply 12v to one of the other 2 leads to open or close the valve. the CR03 wiring has a common ground, and then you keep 12v on one side all the time so the valve is normally closed. You ALSO apply 12v to the 3rd wire to open the valve, then when the 12v is removed from that wire, the valve closes. This is commonly refered to as "One Wire" control.

So with Phoenix, I should be looking at the CR03.
